I gave a short history of my walk through "the valley of the shadow of death", not too long after the homosexual marriage debate I referred to earlier. Most of the commentary I also referred to, came as a result of them reading my blog, taking the most damaging-sounding quotes out of it, and mocking me.
I'm not exactly mad about it, really. It did make me steam a bit for a while, but I got over. Just remember, though - testimonies give the opportunity for people to ridicule you for mistakes that (of course...) THEY would never make.
Which refers us back to preceding notes. People will use anything they can, whether real, or imagined, to attack you, so they don't have to admit what they're attacking you for. Others, of course, won't make any bones about attacking you for your Christianity. Some, though, still want to hold on to some view of themselves as "Good Christians", while denying as many principles as they can that Christianity contains. It would be pretty amusing to watch - if you didn't know the end result of them doing so.
