Not directly related, but an interesting principle. "Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from every brother who leads an unruly life and not according to the tradition which you received from us."

Skip down a bit, and you read this:
"If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother."

I promise you, I read these verses several times while garnering material for my rebuttals. Every time I came back refreshed. When you are dealing with someone who says they are a Christian, yet denies even basic principles in their arguments - you "nouqeteo", or, warn, them. This is my guiding principle the rest of the debate. I probably slip a few times. I'm no Paul. I do try to keep the above at the forefront of my mind, the entire time I write though. I sincerely hope you recognize the spirit in which it is written.
