Yeah, I'm calling him out. That first post of his was SO out of the blue, that I really didn't see it coming. So, well, since he wants to argue doctrine and Biblical correctness - let's rumble. What better testimony could I leave, if I'm obviously going to go down in flames regardless? I'd rather go down in a blaze of Biblical exegesis/exposition than in some sad little flame war.

Yes, I COULD have "not fed the troll". But c'mon. This stuff is so OUT THERE that there is absolutely NO way I could have let that stand unanswered. Especially with the non-Christians sitting there saying "Oh, I agree!". It's unconscionable for me to allow "the big lie" to go without calling it what it is, and trying, at least the best I can mange, to answer from God's word.

That's my reasoning at least. I'd be curious to know what sort of strategy I could have used other than that :/
