Bad argument. I'm telling him "show me a verse that says we're not supposed to witness". Obviously, it doesn't exist - so, instead of trying to prove something that doesn't exist, he goes for me, instead. That's not to say that it's "my fault" he can't admit he's wrong. I should have been a bit more subtle, though, perhaps.

I will, however, stand directly by, behind, and for my statement preceding it. A Christian is, and has to be, Born Again. The results of that rebirth are called the "fruits of the spirit". The fruits result in only one thing - the central theme of the Old Testament - the Holiness of God. That IS the job of a Christian - to "be Holy, as I am Holy". Everything else is subsidiary.
