Independent Contract Pilots Association
| The Independent Contract Pilots Association
is commonly known as the ICPA. It is comprised of several "unions", or
labor/trade organizations, and does not tend toward an organized
government of any form - any governmental decisions are made by "The
Commitee". |

Reconnaisance and Exploration Chapter
| The Exploration branch of this chapter was
formed with the motto "Finder's keepers" in mind. Their goal, if it can
be called such, is to expand, hold, and monopolize as much territory as
physically possible. Their efforts have allowed the ICPA's borders to
expand in several unexpected directions since it's inception. Their
Reconnaisance branch is extremely adept at both designing ECM and
information gathering technology, and using it. Some consider them to
be the masters of the trade, despite Amananth's widely accepted
monopoly. |

Resource Extraction Chapter
| While Quantar holds the absolute iron grip
on mining innovation in most ways, this chapter provides them with the
incentive to keep those innovations coming. Their stated goal is simply
to keep the resource needs of the Association supplied - always. The
fact that these operations carry a high profit margin consistently is
not anything to boast about, to them. It's simply assumed. |

Mercenary Chapter
| Mercenary Squads have been a common sight
around space since TRI was formed, it seems. They've been a staple of
Octavian society, in particular, for even longer than that. This Union
is formed solely for the protection and mutual benefit of contract
soldiers. |

Logistics Chapter
| Logistics and Supply are two areas commonly
overlooked, or thought to be "beneath" the usual combat pilot. This
Chapter was formed exclusively for the benefit and mutual profitability
of cargo haulers, movers, and production specialists of all stripes.
Every civilization requires supply to keep it running smoothly - the
ICPA is no different. Exclusive contracts are formed and maintained
with other chapters to ensure that Logistics vessels are adequately
defended and escorted at all times. |

Privateer Chapter
| The Privateer chapter either procures the
goods of others, or generally preys on shipping in general. They are
given free rein, or a marque, to create as much havoc on enemy shipping
as possible. That is their job, their function, and their chosen role.
