Far as I can tell - I play the guitar, and he’s doing all the right things, in the right places. If it wasn’t him, he might as well be playing it, because he’s in all the right places
This is just a flash “plugin” script that lets you post their videos on your own website. From what I read, it’s a kid who heard an arrangement of Pachbel’s Canon for guitar by Jerry C, seen here, and practiced for months to do it. He did a very good job, as you can see
I have no idea if it’s anywhere else, save that google video piece linked above.
I got linked here to see this video. Frickin’ awesome. I was enthralled. I also checked out Jerry C.’s video. I am so envious of anyone who can play a musical instrument but I am stunned when they play it that well and with such passion. I myself have no musical ability except to turn the power on mine CD player! ;0]
Thanks for posting this.

wow…my hubby plays…I am gonna ask what he thinks but as you mention, he is pretty much in the right places so he may as well be playing it! Wow. Beautiful!
As a guitar player myself, and been playing for years and years (I was always especially fascinated with the rock guitar players of the ’80’s), I can tell you, that, as far as I can tell, this is real. He’s really playing it. If it’s fake, then it’s the best hoax I’ve ever seen. This is remeniscient of something like Yngwie Malmsteen, or some other similar guitarist. It’s the same ‘over-the-top’ style of playing that was popular in the ’80’s. They especially incorporated classical music into their repertoir. What fascinates me most about this, however, is that this guy doesn’t look like he’s much older than about 17. If that’s the case, then this is really amazing. In any case, this is a really good tune.
AWESOME!!! Wow! God has surely blessed this young (VERY young-looking!) man with some mighty talent! I absolutely loved this as the Canon is my favorite! I want to yell MORE, MORE, MORE….but, um…I can only imagine how long it took to accomplish this feat.
Ah well…in good time. I do expect to hear more from this fella.
I am a professional violinist and play with a string quartet. We play Canon almost every weekend at someones wedding. This is REALLY good! What a great talent . Reminds me of the guitars in Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Is that real?

It looked pretty real, the timing was perfect… but I didn’t see anyone in that bedroom playing drums.
I’d love to get this pice though. Name? Artist? Is it on iTunes?

That was awesome! I thought it was very creative, and I loved the transition to the minor key. Thanks for sharing.

1. That someone could recognize that this COULD be done with a marvelous tune;
2. That someone would be ABLE to do it;
3. That someone WOULD do it
is astonsishing to me. It is great!
