The Daily Cut – 5/11
Posted by RazorsKissMay 11
I DO have a reason for most of the blogs on my blogroll.
For instance: “This is not for you…”
Once you check out this post – take a look through some of Matthew’s other stuff. He is a phenomenal writer.
Maybe this is a dumb question – but first, why is noone submitting anything to Vox? Second, why is noone visiting? Third, why don’t you email me to become a contributor? Fourth, how the heck do I fix the comments on Vox? I broke them, somehow…
It’s annoying me.
Basically, I want a few people to spend 5 minutes a day, and link to a few apologetics posts or articles apiece. That’s at least content. I’m having a severely hard time keeping up with it, and it seems like the existing contributors are pretty much up to their eyeballs themselves.
So, if you are listed in my apologetics section (see top right of my massive blogroll), or think you should be – and would like to help – talk to me, please. That’s one thing I CAN do faithfully, regardless of how limited my time is – answer email.

Joshua: Sorry you’re frustrated. I don’t know the answers to your questions, but I do want you to know that it’s not because we’re not reading your blog! Peace. Milton

I like Milton do not have the answer to your question, but I am more then willing to help when and if I can. Tell me what you need and when you need it and I will do I can to help out.
On a personal note I know I have put up posts that were really heart felt, researched and passionate and heard nothing at all over the transome. Then I will post a quick note and get 5 comments in a day. I have gone over a week – about 30+ (I average about 4 a day on weekdays and 2 a day on weekends) posts – and gotten no comments before. I added a link to offer a free T-shirt for submissions to my main page and I have yet to get one. That is very disheartening so I know you it goes.
Long and short, I determined a long time ago that my website / blog was a ministry and like most ministeries I do not expect to get a lot praise or feedback. I know that is not a great encouragement, but that is how I personally feel. That mindset / belief also makes the praise and feedback that I do get even more special.

Well first of all, since you were the first blog not related to me by blood to put me on your blogroll – I’m glad to know you had a reason – and THANK YOU! Second – I would love to contribute to vox… I’m just waiting for a topic that I can jump on with all due speed. And I too know that feeling of working hard over a post and having it go unnoticed and then getting all the comments for something I thought was silly. (a little song about the Marines for example)

Wow, thank you for your kind words. While I hardly think of myself as “phenomenal” – I do appreciate your glowing sentiment.
